Patience Pays

Once there was a small kid on earth.
One fine day she came to know that
God is distributing apples to humans in his place at heaven.
The kid was so happy to receive that news
and she went with lot of enjoyment to heaven to
get the apple from God.

There was a big queue standing to get apple from
God and this kid also joined in that queue.
While she was standing, she was
fully excited and thrilled for the fact that
she is going to receive in
person from god's hands.
Her turn too came and the kid showed both her
hands to receive apple.

God gave the apple but unfortunately the tiny hands
couldn't hold that big apple.
Apple fell down and got wasted in mud.
The kid got so disappointed.

The ministers near the God informed that if the
kid likes to have an apple from God again
then she has to again follow the queue.
Having waited for so long the kid didn't want to return back to
earth with empty hands so she decided to wait again in the queue.

This time the queue had become even longer than the previous one.
While waiting in queue, the kid could see lot of people who returns back
with apple in hands and utmost satisfaction on their faces.

The kid was so much disappointed and thought why me alone didn't get the apple in hand
when all others were easily able to get it.
What is the sin I did that
I
alone should suffer like this.

Now the kid was so scared that she should not
miss the apple again. Again her turn came and God gave the apple to the
kid's hands and after giving the apple, God spoke to the kid.

"My dear child,
last time after giving you the apple, I noticed the
apple I gave to you was a rotten apple and
that's why I made that to fell
down from your hands.
Having given you a rotten apple,
I
felt bad for you
and I wanted to give you the best apple in the farm
and that time the best apple in the farm was growing
and that's why I made you to wait such a long time in the queue.

Here it is.
Now the apple that you have in hand is

'The Best' apple in the farm till to date. Enjoy."

If it was another call

to be remembered, I can’t afford to forget this day.
In the early hours was a call for resuscitation.
A young Zimbabwean woman who had delivered a beautiful baby on the 2nd developed abdominal pains from 7th which had become worse since the previous evening.
Unable to bear,  the young couple had come to the hospital.
Whilst waiting for being attended she collapsed suddenly and was being resuscitated. So far, it’s a normal affair, which does happen in any casualty department.
Now,  the resuscitation attempt proves unsuccessful and the patient dies.
It’s another routine thing which happens and the certification is done for further formalities.

For a moment I thought, let me talk to the young husband.
There I saw, this young man may be just out of teens carrying the nice chubby baby wrapped in shawl and holding a milk bottle in another hand.
He had already been told of the death, so I asked him, if he had anybody for help?
He had thought that it will be just another ordinary ailment and he would admit her in the hospital and will go to work from the hospital direct, an inference born out of the fact that he was with his work suit.

My simple question had shattered him: Only then did he realize that he has a responsibility in the arms and a ritual waiting to be performed.
He silently pushed out a tear from his tired sleepless eyes and softly replied,
“No, Sir “.

May be in that moment the future of that baby was running like a cine film in his mind. Here is a man, who had left his home in another country,
Until recently life was overflowing with joy and happiness and now suddenly his better half is gone with the wind.
And the arms are carrying a huge responsibility.

To be a doctor and walk away after resuscitation like this is a routine,
but for a second just a courtesy enquiry pulls me back to become more humane...
His facial expression on that early morning sun has left a lasting impression in my heart...
I gently patted his shoulders, conveying my sympathies.
Untold words of comfort were passed on to his mind as I could see in his eyes the sense of thanks…..
It was not just another call...

In the quite cool gentle breeze
on a full moon day with a clear sky
the moon rising at a slow gentle speed
near the shore of a clear human  free beach with the waves rising at high tides
but splashing back wih tamed and smiling defeat
the narrow strip of the moon's silver streak shadow on the water  glitering like a fizzy drink
just hear that gentle sax of kenny G ....
Mind seems to be relaxed eternally longing for the return of that night always.

TIME DILATION

Time Dilation

One of the most enthralling aspects of Relativity is its new understanding of time. The term "time dilation" might evoke images of Salvadore Dali's timepieces hanging on twigs, however, time dilation is all but surrealistic. As stated earlier, if the speed of light is constant, time cannot be constant. In fact, it doesn't make sense to speak of time as being constant or absolute, when we think of it as one dimension of spacetime. Special Relativity states that time is measured according to the relative velocity of the reference frame it is measured in. Despite of the simplicity of this statement, the relativistic connection between time and space are hard to fathom. There are numerous ways to illustrate this:

The four dimensions of spacetime.

In Relativity the world has four dimensions: three space dimensions and one dimension that is not exactly time but related to time. In fact, it is time multiplied by the square root of -1. Say, you move through one space dimension from point A to point B. When you move to another space coordinate, you automatically cause your position on the time coordinate to change, even if you don't notice. This causes time to elapse. Of course, you are always travelling through time, but when you travel through space you travel through time by less than you expect. Consider the following example:

Time dilation; the twin paradox.

There are two twin brothers. On their thirtieth birthday, one of the brothers goes on a space journey in a superfast rocket that travels at 99% of the speed of light. The space traveller stays on his journey for precisely one year, whereupon he returns to Earth on his 31st birthday. On Earth, however, seven years have elapsed, so his twin brother is 37 years old at the time of his arrival. This is due to the fact that time is stretched by factor 7 at approx. 99% of the speed of light, which means that in the space traveller’s reference frame, one year is equivalent to seven
years on earth. Yet, time appears to have passed normally to both brothers, i.e. both still need five minutes to shave each morning in their respective reference frame.
The effect of time dilation is negligible for common speeds, such as that of a car or even a jet plane, but it increases dramatically when one gets close to the speed of light. Very close to c, time virtually stands still for the outside observer.

It does not happen every other day .

On a cool cloudy twilight evening with a gentle drizzle raising the thick smell of moist mud ., mixed with the newly blossomed white jasmine 's fragrance from the pot plant .

Watching the long Q' of cars on the distant road .

Leaning on the balcony wall , after a warm shower with aroma of the soap still lingering,

Holding the silver tumbler of a hot coffee .,with a peacefull smile on thinking about a nutty freind. what next ? .. the freind calls you in your cell !!

DOES REAL GENUINE THOUGHTS ARE POWERFULL ENOUGH TO PROVOKE A DISTANT STIMULUS ?

Hmm ...may be its coincidence ......

( the call is an added extra ingredient to the concoction of comfort ! )

cant describe the joy ! paucity of words though plenty of thoughts.........

Cry of silence

When the sound of rushing water meets the whispering of green leaves,
and the sound of quick footsteps on dry leaves, and the sweet, sweet melody of the black birds up ahead,
silently silence is silenced.
Noises …the Noises of nature come to life.
Sounds of voices, both human and animals in hunger, greed and creed
Supervene supremely
Silenced silence is silenced
And in that chaos
Everything's gone wrong these days
No one reacts to anything of your says
No matter how much you scream and cry, the world seems to be passing you by.
No one seems to notice or care, that you are trying to be heard over your despair
The voice full silence moulds as a tear and drops down.
This silent drop of the drop reverberates
A nerve rattling and mind shattering noise only to those who can hear ….
Or
may be sense it?

In which ever way it might be thought of , its but true , to agree that falling in love can happen at any age . Its a wild fire , if it strikes at a young age . a mild cinder if it warms at a later age. To look oneself in the mirror and then think about the new (ad)venture, a while later we may laugh it off . Yet there are true romances , a urge for longing to live with a new found partner ( diabetes / spondylosis / hypertension / arthritis etc etc .. does not matter !!) and some dared to show it off without any hesitancy or shyness. And some deeply buried their desires and allowed the order of society to govern the ground. Some say it : some said it : others keep smiling as their say ! but mourn deep inside and hope oneday the cinder to ash ............
